Interesting decision in Swift v Carpenter

The Court of Appeal has handed down its Judgment in Swift v Carpenter [2020] Costs LR 1547.

Of particular note are the Part 36 benefits applied, the Appellant having beaten her own offer was granted interest at 4.5% and an interim payment of £500,000 ordered. The Judgment also makes some interesting and detailed points on Protective Costs Orders.
